Real businesses. Real shipped software.

Not mockups, not "coming soon." Here's what we've actually built and put in front of real users.

We got a 77-vendor collective off spreadsheets for good.

Client Belmont BatcaveWhere Belmont, NCScope Site + ops platform

An alt store, vendor collective, and live venue. Run by hand. Not anymore.

Belmont Batcave is an alternative store, a 77-vendor collective, and a live music venue, all at once. All of it was being run by hand, across spreadsheets and DMs. We built the site and the system underneath it, so the operation runs itself.

PileUp didn't just build us a website. They built the system that runs our shop. Stuff we did by hand for 77 vendors now just works. They actually got what we were about.

The challenge

Running a store, a vendor collective, and a venue means three businesses' worth of moving parts. Vendors dropping off inventory, bands asking to play, customers hunting for specific items, all of it tracked in spreadsheets, group chats, and the owners' memory. It worked, barely, and it didn't scale past the two people holding it together.

What we built

  • Hourly drop-off slot booking that auto-accepts and counts inventory
  • A band application form that routes submissions straight to the owners
  • A "wanted items" board that updates itself, no manual editing
  • Passkey login and a Resend-powered newsletter
  • An admin backend so the whole thing runs without us
Node · Express · SQLite · Passkeys

The result

A fast, properly built site that dramatically improved Belmont Batcave's SEO. New customers actually find them in search now, driving real foot traffic and online sales. And the whole operation runs on software instead of spreadsheets. See it live at belmontbatcave.com →

BugMe: a SaaS we designed, built, shipped, and still run.

The strongest proof we can ship isn't a logo. It's a live product with paying users that we maintain every day. BugMe is an ADHD-focused reminder platform on web, iOS, and Android. We feel every decision our clients feel: hosting, performance, support, churn.
